On the occasion of the Jubilee 1550, a medal was created which recalled the important religious event on the obverse - with the representation of the scene of the opening of the Holy Door and the indiction of the Jubilee in the decoration of the cope of Julius III - and bore the facade of the Vatican Basilica on the reverse as it appeared on the medal of Paul III dated to 13th year of the pontificate, with the legend obviously modified.
