Barb. gr. 388 includes palimpsest fragments from three different Church Slavonic manuscripts (e.g. f. 57r; cf. D'Aiuto, Su alcuni manoscritti greci, p. 420). For example, f. 57r is a fragment of liturgical texts (Oktoich) written in Church Slavonic, 12th-13th century, copied in Bulgaria and Serbia. The upper text was copied by a certain Joannes in the 13th or 14th century (cf. his undersigning appears on f. 164r), a date determined according to the palaeographical features of the upper text.
