Christian Palestinian Aramaic
The Vatican Library possesses several fragments in Christian Palestinian Aramaic, mostly Biblical translations. For example, several folios of Vat. sir. 623, pt. 2 include sections from the Christian Palestinian Aramaic translation of Exodus. The current manuscript in which these fragments survive includes Christian sermons in Syriac that were copied on a massive collection of recycled parchment sheets, many of which in Christian Palestinian Aramaic. The colophon of the current Syriac manuscript gives the date of its completion, the year 886.
