Curatorial narrative

This manuscript is a liturgical book dating from the 13th century and contains the concise redaction of the paracletic canons, collection of hymns to the Mother of God. It contains fragments recycled from four different manuscripts: a liturgical codex from the 11th century, from the collection of sayings of the desert fathers, the so called Apophthegmata patrum (late 10th century), selections from the Old Testament and liturgical texts accompanied with musical notation (sticherarion) from the eleventh century.

Bibliography; Pinakes.
