Vat.gr.802 <inf.>

Questo manoscritto conserva diverse sezioni della grande raccolta di Vite agiografiche di Simeone Metafraste (Menologion), disposte secondo i giorni delle loro festività nel calendario liturgico ortodosso. La prima parte del manoscritto (ff. 1r-197v) contiene le Vite dei santi per il mese di ottobre, la seconda parte (ff. 198r-231v) il Martirio di san Artemio, mentre la terza (ff. 232r-242v) il Martirio di santa Caterina d'Alessandria, la cui festività ricorre alla fine di novembre.

Il manoscritto si conclude con una sezione del volume menologico relativo al mese di dicembre. Quest'ultima parte conserva alcuni fogli di un Lezionario (ff. 260 + 125, 262 + 263, 268 + 269, 270) che aveva come contenuto le letture dei Vangeli. Questo manoscritto fu vergato nell'VIII secolo in maiuscola biblica. All'inizio del volume è posto un indice delle Vite dei santi (f. IIr-v) databile al XVI secolo.
