Palinsesti Vaticani Recupero digitale di identità cancellate [di A. Németh]

Vat.gr.345 <inf.>

Questo manoscritto è uno Psalticon, ossia un manuale del cantore, lo psaltes. Contiene una raccolta di importanti inni e melodie con la notazione musicale bizantina che il cantore intonava durante la liturgia nella Chiesa ortodossa. Il manoscritto fu copiato nel XIII secolo ed è formato interamente da fogli riutilizzati, tutti provenienti da uno stesso codice. Questo costituiva una grossa raccolta di omelie di Gregorio di Nazianzo risalente al IX secolo e trascritta in maiuscola ogivale inclinata su fogli di grandi dimensioni a due colonne. I fogli di questo omeliario furono tagliati a metà e poi piegati ancora a metà per formare i bifogli del nuovo codice (ad es. ff. 40v + 33r).
