Vat.gr.1853 <inf.1.1-1.2>

Questo manoscritto, completato nel 1173 dal sacerdote Theodoros, è un libro liturgico contenente i canoni paracletici, ossia una raccolta di inni dedicati a Gesù Cristo, alla Madre di Dio e ad alcuni santi. Comprende alcuni testi riutilizzati, tra cui una sezione del Vangelo di Matteo, forse appartenente a un Lezionario. Questo testo cancellato fu parzialmente trascritto su fogli che erano stati asportati dal volume di settembre di un menologio premetafrastico, databile agli inizi del X secolo. È interessante notare che il testo inferiore più recente (Vangelo di Matteo) è quasi illeggibile a causa dell'uso di reagenti chimici che lo hanno rimosso. Il manoscritto era stato slegato e i suoi bifogli sono ora rilegati in modo tale da agevolare la lettura dei testi inferiori.
