La Biblioteca di un 'principe umanista' Federico da Montefeltro e i suoi manoscritti [di M.G. Critelli]

Copista fiorentino attivo intorno alla metà del ’400 e stretto collaboratore di Vespasiano da Bisticci. Firma con il suo nome un unico colophon nell’anno 1461 («[...] Finit. Sinibaldus C. Scripsit. M.CCCCLXI», Firenze, Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, ms. Laur. Fies. 43). Albinia de la Mare riconosce la sua mano in 49 manoscritti, tra i quali 16 Urbinati (Urb. lat. 74, Urb. lat. 75, Urb. lat. 330, Urb. lat. 331, Urb. lat. 334, Urb. lat. 343, Urb. lat. 347, Urb. lat. 358, Urb. lat. 370, Urb. lat. 414, Urb. lat. 641, Urb. lat. 658, Urb. lat. 660, Urb. lat. 668, Urb. lat. 669 e Urb. lat. 881), e propende per la sua identificazione con il notaio fiorentino Ser Sinibaldo di Ser Sozzo Cacciaconti di Volterra, ma non trova prove per confermarlo. Afferma tuttavia che non deve essere identificato con Antonio Sinibaldi, come avviene in Bénédictins du Bouveret, Colophons de manuscrits occidentaux, I, p. 153 nr. 1228.
